Before school lets out, Dive Practices will take place Monday - Friday (Tuesday 5/26 through Wednesday 6/17):

NVSL dive groups are determined by the age your child is on June 1st.

If a diver has a conflict with these times, we can work with families to find a practice slot that is compatible with their schedule.

* 13-14 divers can choose which practice to attend.

*** This schedule might be adjusted based on registration numbers.

Morning Practices

Our regular morning practices will take place Monday - Friday, starting Thursday 6/12 through Wednesday 7/16*:

NVSL dive groups are determined by the age your child is on June 1st. 

* 13-14 divers can request to practice at a different time.

*** This schedule may change based on registration numbers.

- Divers selected for Divisionals will continue to have practice July 17th - July 18th. Exact schedule will be communicated later in the season.

- Divers who qualify for All-Stars will have practice July 21nd - July 25th. Exact schedule will be communicated later in the season.

Afternoon Clinics & Make Up Practices

Afternoon Clinics will take place every Wednesday, starting 6/24 through 7/22.

• 4:30 - 5:30 pm: 10 & Under
• 5:30 - 6:30 pm: 11 & Older

Make Up practices will generally take place on Fridays, starting 6/26 through 7/17.

• 5:00 - 6:00pm: All Age Groups

General

Divers are expected to attend ALL practices and participate throughout the entire NVSL season.

USA Diving club divers are permitted to attend their club practice in place of the Oakton Otters practice. However, they are expected to attend at least one Oakton practice a week.

Most of our amazing coaches offer private dive lessons for those divers who are looking to improve their technique, gain confidence on the board or simply get extra practice time. 

For private lessons, parents or divers should make arrangements with the Coach of choice and agree on a time, type of lesson, and fee. Payment is collected directly by the Coach. Boards will not be closed for these lessons.
